Finding the best foundation for your specific skin type, is something that requires testing different ones. The best solution is to start with brands with a high success rate or quality and longevity. Brands that contain a variety for different skin types. Starting with, Makeup Forever. This brand is recommended due to its variety of options.
If you are looking for a dewy, matte, full coverage, or water-based foundation this brand has it all! Including liquid and powder choices. They, along with most makeup brands now, offer an online quiz to select your best shade. It is recommended to take the quiz then go to the store to try the selected shade.
Some brands also offer samples, which is great due to majority makeup brand foundations raging on cost. Order some samples first prior to spending 40-50 dollars on a foundation.
Some other excellent choices include the following: Charlotte Tilbury, Estee Lauder, IT Cosmetics and Tarte to name a few.
How to Make Eyelashes Grow
This is a tricky one. There are so many different serums out there, however, make sure it is a brand you trust as you are applying it so close to your eyes. Other more natural options include using olive oil, taking Biotin, moisturizing with coconut oil, castor oil, vitamin E oil and lastly you can comb your lashes. All of these have been effective in some cases. They are all natural remedies rather than applying a harsh serum directly on your lid where your lashes grow.
Taking a daily number of vitamins can also help with eyelash growth among many additional health benefits. As listed above Biotin can help with lash growth along with hair and nail growth.
Moral of the story is simply taking your daily vitamins helps rejuvenate your natural beauty.
What Makeup Brands are Best for Eyeshadow
If you have been struggling to find long lasting, creamy eyeshadows then look no further! Here are some of our all-time favorite eyeshadow brands. The first is Urban Decay, they have excellent long lasting shadows in a variety of pallets. Choices are endless, if you want a pallet suitable for natural looks or night out looks, they have you covered. The quality of the shadow is thick and a little goes a long way. The creamy texture grabs on to your lid and lasts throughout the night with a primer.
Another favorite brand includes Tarte! An affordable, excellent brand for a variety of palettes. You will find shades for all skin tones. Shimmer, matte, glitter galore you name they have it. For more intermediate artists check out Pat McGrath Labs palettes as they also come in a variety of colors and textures. How to Make Makeup Last Throughout the Day
Start at the beginning of your makeup application with the proper priming routine. This will create a base for your makeup. Once that sets you are ready to apply your makeup. Start with a less oily foundation.
Once your foundation is on and set you will want to add a finishing powder. Make sure your foundation has had time to dry at this point. Then add your powder, once your entire makeup application is complete add a layer of finishing/setting spray to complete your look.
Pro tip: Keep your layers of makeup light, fine layers will last longer than heavy/thick layers of foundation.
How to Clean a Beauty Blender
Cleaning makeup brushes can be a very tedious task. However, what about your beauty blenders that are more of a sponge? How are you supposed to clean those?
This is an answer that starts with “it depends.” If you are a professional makeup artist DO NOT reuse your beauty blenders. These are to be gifted to your clients as it is not sanitary to use these on multiple clients, even after you clean them, bacteria still get trapped.
For personal use only, you can use an unscented bar of soap and scrub it across and squeeze out under warm water. Although these are not meant to last forever. Switch them out often to avoid too many bacteria from forming which can lead to breakouts.
