Professional Program of nail artistry focuses on manicures, pedicures and the importance of sanitation protocols. Students will learn nail techniques for acrylic and 3D gel nails including both free form and using tips. In addition, heavy emphasis will be placed on nail art techniques.

Sanitation + Infection Control
The core of the Professional Program of Nail Artistry is designed to confidently enable students to provide any nail technician service safely with the health and safety of both the service provider and the client in mind.

- Indirect vs. Direct Transmission
- Harmful vs. Harmless Bacteria
- Viruses, Parasites + Biofilms
- Local vs. General Infections
- Nail Disorders + Diseases
- Chemical Disinfectants
- Blood Exposure Incidents
- State Sanitation Requirements + Laws
Manicures + Pedicures
Manicures are often the foundation on which other nail technician services are built upon. Being able to excel in manicures and pedicures is also essential for client retention.
We include education like:
- Natural Nail Shapes + Structure
- Traditional Manicures
- French Manicures
- Basic Spa Pedicures
- Deluxe Spa Pedicures
- Waterless Pedicures
- Manicuring Treatments
- Hot Oil Manicures

Acrylic + 3D Gel Nails
Students will learn corrective shaping based upon client needs and provide a set of acrylic and 3D gel nails that are all shaped precisely the same way and stay maintenance free for at least two weeks.

- Full Set Acrylic Nails

- Odorless Acrylic
- Back-filling Growth
- Repairing Cracks + Breaks
- Common Problems + Cautions
- Sculpting Extensions
- Sculpting Different Nail Shapes

Nail Art
Heavy emphasis will be placed upon nail art techniques for both traditional and gel nail polish enabling students to offer high-end nail designs to their clients.
We include education like:
- Dotting + Striping + Flicks
- Marbling
- Gradients + Fades
- Working with 3D Accessories
- Foiling + Chrome Powder
- Faux Finish Techniques
- Sculpting 3D Elements
- Mixing Color + Color Harmonies
- Instruction and in depth theory on trending nail mediums such as the new Gel X nail enhancement systems and Structured Gel(AKA Builder gel, hard gel).
- Extensive training on advanced nail art. Teaching students how to master Chrome, Isolated Chrome, Reverse Chrome, 3D Gel, “Copy & Paste” art, realism, and more! Of course we also teach the basics that everyone loves such as flowers, French tips, etc.
- Manicures and Pedicures are taught at a luxury standard, as well as newer, waterless options.
- Students learn to inspect nail health before services and ensure they are giving high quality manicures, caring for the cuticle in ways that are often overlooked in common nail salons.
- The Academy prides itself on strict standards for sanitation.
- Students learn more than the basics of acrylic. They are guided in different ways to apply acrylic that can reduce service time and be used for different forms of art such as Acrylic 3D flowers, Encapsulation, Pink/White Acrylic Ombre, and Pink/ White Full Acrylic French. Students also learn acrylic nail enhancements on forms as well as tips, to ensure versatility.
- Included in the program is a business course that encourages students to create their own LLC, website, brand, logo, etc. Students also learn about pricing menus and product cost, which prepares our students for success in the industry after licensure.
- Speaking of licensure, our in-depth state board training and easy access to instruction will have students well equipped to take their boards.
- This program is ever-evolving. If you see a new trend in nails (especially in nail art), it is most likely that it will be implemented somewhere within the education, even at the student’s request. Ask and you shall receive (as long as it’s safe
